I liked the book. I liked the book because it wasn't one of those fairy tale endings.

Ponyboy
I think that Ponyboy is restless. I say this because he been scared to do anything ever since what happen to the Soc. This would make Ponyboy weak for now, but later in life I think he will have the advantage because he has already had to go through a lot of really hard stuff. Ponyboy at the beginning of the book was afraid at moments but also confidant at others and now he is more brave, but also scared at times.
CER and My opinion
My claim is that Johnny was weak from the traits he had. He was restless, scared, afraid, miserable, and kind of a fighter. Then I think he changed to become strong.
My evidence was that everybody told each other to back off when he gets mouthy, and he wanted to go home. Also he saved children from a burning church, and stayed alive for awhile when he had a broken back, in critical condition.
My Reasoning is that he didn't stand up for himself and people in his group stood up for him. Also he wanted to go home sometimes when he had to leave town. Also his story or he was in the newspaper, maybe both. Last he stayed alive for 2 to 4 days when he was in critical condition.
I like the book, and the way it went slow at the beginning and then boom, everything gets turn upside down, for everybody. My favorite part is that when Ponyboy, Dallas, and Johnny all escape the church. My least favorite part was how they had emotional connections in the rumble with the Socs.

C: Ponyboy is smart, funny, but kind of weird. It makes him weak because if he gets jumped he cries and stuff no other greasers cry besides him. He changes towards the end of the book and gets a little stronger and tougher and more cooler.
E: When he got jumped by 4 socs he got punched and kicked but he cried. When Dallas got jumped by 5 socs he didn't cry. That is what makes him tough. He is the toughest guy in the book and 1 of the toughest you will ever here of.
R: I think Dallas is the strongest and Ponyboy is the weakest.
I liked the book a lot. I liked the plot it was a good thrilling story that kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. My favorite part of the book was when Johnny killed the soc because i didn't like the socs and i was glad that e was dead and i liked that they went on the run.
Final Post
I think that Johnny was very brave and he was very fearless and fearce. He help little kids that were in a burning buliding and he ended up getting really hurt. When he was saving the little kids and he was in the building when the roof clasped. He risked his life for 8 kids. The book says that his face wasnt burned, he looked very pale and he looked really sick and burned
I liked the book. I mean this book had a lot of action and you didn't know what was going to happen. This was such a good book that it sounded like a real story and that people actually went through all of this pain and suffering. My favorite part was when Pony-boy and Johnny were jumped and Johnny pulled a switch blade on one of the Socs and killed him. I think this made both of the boys stronger.

High school clique
I don't think Pony would be very popular because of how much of a social outcast he already is in middle school. He would probably be exactly how he is now, just hanging out with all of the greasers and not paying attention to anyone else. He would definitely turn all of his work in on time and he would always try his hardest on his assignments because of Darry always pushing him further and harder to do better than he already is.

Ponyboy
The Socs keep Ponyboy away from getting what he wants. He wants to hang out with Cherry but the Socs aren't going to let him. Ponyboy feels that it's not fair and doesn't like that the Socs aren't going to let him hang out with her.

I think Ponyboy is nerdy. I say this because he was always ready in the beginning of the book. I think Ponyboy would turn in all of his work on time. It say this because it also said in the beginning of the book that he liked school. Ponyboy is in high school and I think that he is the quiet the one in the back that doesn't really have a lot of friends at school. This tells me that at school he acts totally different than at his house or with his gang.
