I would of asked why is he smoking when he is only 14. I would say that he shouldn't of ran away from his brothers. Also he shouldn't of took the gun Dally gave him even though it was to protect himself.
His body isn't ready for him to be smoking right now, and the places he does smoke is where he shouldn't. If he didn't run off he wouldn't of been no story. If he got caught with the gun there would of been more charges he would of had.
My last thing I would say would be, why do you not just leave town, with someone else who that is leaving because he don't want to be killed. I would ask that because, I think he wants to live instead of dying. Also he has already been in life threatening situations.
I like the questions you asked. I think that the reason he is smoking at 14 is that they don't know the consequences of smoking.
