Main Conflict

      The main conflict of this book so far is man vs. man, and man vs. self. The characters are struggling with rivalry, there are two groups, (greasers and socs), and they hate each other and always get in fights. What makes PonyBoy get into trouble more is that his parents died when he was younger. I think PonyBoy will try to say out of trouble but will end up getting in more trouble while doing so.
