What would you say to your character right now?

• If you had the chance to talk to your main character right now, what would you say to them?

I would probably tell him to spend his money wisely and it is going to be all right.

• Why would you say it?

Because they are in a really tough situation. And if I was in the same situation that they were in I would need it too, that and a little help. Johnny is pretty tough. But since he killed a man, well now he is pretty scared. I mean he was beat up half to death and he has been terrified ever since. Pony-boy and Johnny fell asleep on the side of a curb and he didn't meet his curfew at 12. When he got home at around at 2, his brother's friend, Dally, got scared about him being out alone.

They got in a fight and Dally slapped Pony-Boy. Then Pony ran away with Johnny. They wanted to walk to the park and back just to cool off. When they got to the park, they hung out for a while. When they were about to leave, the Socs, a rich gang, started to jump them. Pony got drowned in the fountain. When he woke up, he saw Johnny with his switch blade in his hand. Pony-boy looked over and saw the head Soc., Bob, dead on the ground. Johnny was smiling.

They both knew that they were going to get caught, so they wanted to cover it up. So they went to the bar party to find the head of the Greasers, the group that they are in. When they get there he is really drunk. They tell him what happened, he gives them a coat, and $50. He got it from his friend that he did rodeos with. They were instructed to go to a empty church at the top of a hill until the coast was clear with the cops. when they got to the church they bought 2 weeks worth of food. I think that if that happened to me i would need someone to help me get through it.
