S. E. Hinton

     S. E. Hinton is the author of The Outsiders. Some books Susan has wrote are, The Outsiders(1967), Rumble Fish(1975), That Was Then(1971, This is Now, Tex(1979), Taming the Star Runner(1998), The Puppy Sister(1995), etc. I think she wrote this book because, She has always enjoyed reading but wasn't satisfied with the literature that was being written for young adults, which influenced her to write novels like The Outsiders.
