The main character in The Outsiders is called Ponyboy. He has a weird name but he likes it as he said. That shows me that he is confident. He gets pushed around a lot so he might be weak. He also depends on his brothers to back him up so he might be shy. Since he could not get away from the Socs and they pined him down he could not be very strong but it was 5 against 1 I guess its okay. when he got cut by the Socs he didn't notice so he might not be very aware of his surroundings.
I like this character because he doesn't want to fit in with the crowd. He likes different people then his gang does. His gang like the girls like them (Greasers) but he likes the Soc girls. He is very loyal to his gang too. When they went to the movies Ponyboy backed up his friend when a girl was talking bad about his and calling him trash. He puts his friends first. Friends come before relationships.
