If I had the chance to talk to Ponyboy I would say, that he needs to have more fun and be more easygoing. But he needs to be confident in himself when it comes to the Socs. He needs to not let them pick on him and stand up to them.
I would say that because he needs to know that he doesn't have to be defenseless against them. Just because they're wealthier than the Greasers doesn't mean that they have the right to beat them up. I think that he needs to be confident in himself when it comes to the Socs.
I think that Ponyboy and Cherry are going to show both the Socs and the Greasers that there doesn't have to be a rivalry. It's going to show them they can all be friends. I think in the end they're all going to get along.
