Johnny

    I think Johnny isn't weak but also isn't strong. I think he's somewhere in the middle. I think he's in the middle because he gets scared of the Socs,(weak), but he also isn't scared to stand up for his friends,(strong).
    The ratings in my lit circle did not compare. Alli chose Ponyboy and said he was strong until one of the Socs got killed then he ran away and became a weak character. I think that is also true but I think that Ponyboy just gets caught up in his feelings sometimes but overall he is a strong character.
    When I move on farther in the book I think Johnny will become a stronger character and learn how to stand up to the Socs and learn how to stand up for himself. I think Johnny will learn how to fight back and learn how to stand up to more people, not just the Socs but also his father.
