How do their actions tell me about who they are?
I feel as Ponyboy is somewhat shy and quiet. When he was at the movies with some girls he really didn't talk as much at first. I also saw that it takes Ponyboy time to warm up to others, but I think he will kinda change later in the book. He doesn't stand up for himself that well, that's why he gets into that kind of trouble and fights.
What have I learned about their habits, likes, and dislikes?
Ponyboy is proud to be a greaser. Also he loves hair and his home town. Ponyboy is somewhat poor and doesn't have as much money as the "Socs". Ponyboy says that the Greasers are more crazy or "wilder" than the Scos. Ponyboy lives with his brothers since his parents died in a auto wreck.
Do you like or dislike your main character? Why?
I don't really know how I feel about Ponyboy. He has his ups and downs, but over all I like him. Ponyboy does some bad things but that's only because he is a Greaser and he kinda has too, but he tries to be good/get better. I think Ponyboy will be my favorite character, but we will have to see!
