I would say that Ponyboy was a strong character until one of the socs got killed, and then he just ran away and kind of became a weak character. One of the people in my group is doing Johnny and also said he was in the middle of weak and strong. I agree that Johnny is in the middle because he can get scared, but at the same time he will also stand up and protect his friends witch is practicality his family.
